The project management suite we had installed previously has been re-installed at http://www.unitycoders.co.uk/dotproject. DotProject is a management tool for keeping track of tasks, meetings and events. I will use it for any development work I am doing, so if anyone wants to contribute to the projects or wants to know the status of them you can check online.

In the IT industry, there are many different terms and acronyms used. This is one of the first hurdles that people encounter. In an attempt to create a resource which is easy to refer to I have created a page on the wiki for glossary terms.

Just a quick message saying I've enabled google anaytics for the site. It's enabled by default so it tracks guests but if you'd rather not be listed in the stats you can go to your profile page and untick the box for it under blocks. This will remove the block from the pages you visit on the site and so Google will not be able to track the page views.

I've enabled it to help us keep track of what operating systems and browsers our user base is using. That should help us target our articles better and allow us to make sure that we're writing articles which people find relevent.

Hello Everyone,
I'd just like to talk you though some changes to the structure of our Wiki. The changes are to make it easier to find (and add) stuff so that everyone can find it in the future. A wide menu is easier to use than a deep menu. I've adapted the structure to reflect this.

If you want to know more about how to use the Google Group to view our Waves, you can find out how at: http://googlewave.blogspot.com/2009/12/waving-with-groups.html. You will have to use your Google account which you registered your wave account on in the group for this to work correctly.
